Man in custody over murder case dies in hospital

A prisoner who was being held at the Denham Town police lockup in Kingston has passed away in hospital.

He is 23-year-old Michael Adams of Land Castle district in Portland.

He was in custody in relation to a case of murder.

Adams died on Monday at the Kingston Public Hospital after being taken from the police station to the medical institution on Friday, October 4.

He was admitted.

Adams was found unresponsive on Monday afternoon and was later pronounced dead.
