Woman charged over guns found in oven gets $200,000 bail
A woman, who along with a man, was charged over the seizure of two guns hidden in an oven at their home in Bog Walk, St Catherine was today granted bail with surety.
Talisia Anderson, 23, was offered bail in the amount of $200,000.
However, her co-accused Dwane Peters, 43, was remanded.
Peters, otherwise call 'Trigger', is said to have admitted ownership of the weapons.
Both are to appear before the Gun Court on October 25.
Allegations are that about 6:30 a.m. on September 26, the police conducted an operation at a house on Swamp Lane in Bog Walk.
The dwelling was searched and according to the police a Mac11 sub machine gun and a Beretta pistol were discovered in a shopping bag inside an oven.
The occupants were then arrested.
They were later charged.
