Vendor charged over gunpoint robbery in St James
A vendor from Crawford Street in Mount Salem, St James was on Monday charged for a robbery that occurred on Fustic Road in Montego Bay.
Timoy Foote, 21, is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, using a firearm to commit a felony and robbery with aggravation.
The Montego Bay police report that about 1:30 p.m., on October 4, Foote went to the complainant's business place and allegedly pulled a firearm and robbed the establishment of items including cash and a cell phone amounting to $80,000.
After a police report was filled.
Foote was subsequently pointed out on an identification parade last Friday and was charged three days later.
