Man and woman fatally shot in Portmore

The St Catherine police are probing the fatal shooting of a man and a woman by unknown assailants in Braeton, Portmore,yesterday.

Dead are Anita Mills, a 35-year-old shopkeeper, and Demetri McKenzie, a 40-year-old labourer.

According to reports about 4:45 p.m. both victims were at home when they were shot and injured by gunmen.

They were assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

No motive has been established for the attack.
