50-y-o bludgeoned to death in his home

The St Catherine police are looking for those responsible for the death of a 50-year-old man who was found bludgeoned to death in his home in Bog Walk, Thursday night.

Dead is Orville Williams, a labourer from the Swamp Lane area.

About 8:45 p.m., the Bog Walk police received information from a relative who reportedly went to the home of the deceased and found it ransacked with Williams' lifeless body inside.

On arrival, the cops found Williams' body in a seated position on his bed with bruises to the head and upper body. His feet were bound and blood was coming from his head and nose.

Williams was pronounced dead at the Linstead Hospital.

The Linstead Criminal Investigations Branch has launched a probe into the matter.
