Clarendon man held with identity information

An operation carried out by lawmen attached to the Clarendon Police Division has led to one arrest and the seizure of several documents containing personal information of several individuals.

Rodrick Bell, a construction worker of Bucknor district, May Pen, was charged with knowingly possessing identity information of another. Reports from the May Pen police are that on January 17, at 5 p.m., the lawmen were conducting a special operation in Bucknor district when a warrant was executed at Bell's house. A search of the house was conducted, and several documents were found with personal information such as telephone numbers, names, addresses, and zip codes. It is alleged that Bell attempted to destroy the documents with fire on the approach of the lawmen.

He was arrested and the documents seized. Bell was later transported to the station and was officially charged on Monday. He is awaiting a court date.
