Bomb squad called in at the St Catherine Parish Court
Sentencing and other proceedings have been called off and the firefighters and police's Bomb squad called in at the St Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday due to a security threat.
Detainees were hurried back to lock-up in various sections of the parish.
Authorities have been deployed to the White Church Street facilities.
The St Catherine Municipal Corporation's offices were also evacuated with staff seen standing in Emancipation Square.
Meanwhile, a number of litigators have expressed concern over the frequency of threats on the justice system.
