Stabbing incident leaves man hospitalised

Lawmen attached to the St Catherine South Police Division have arrested and charged 41-year-old Andre Warren of East, Greater Portmore, with wounding with intent following an incident in his community on May 21.

Reports from the lawmen are that at 10 p.m., the complainant was at home when he and Warren got into an argument that became physical, during which Warren pulled a knife from his waistband and used it to inflict several stab wounds all over the complainant's body. The man was assisted to hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition. The matter was reported to the police, and Warren was apprehended and subsequently charged on Saturday.

His court date is being finalised.
