Farmer charged with wounding

Twenty-four-year-old Shakiel Joseph, otherwise called 'Eddie', a farmer of Wire Fence, Trelawny, has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in Thompson Town, Trelawny, on Saturday.
Reports from the Falmouth police are that at 2 a.m., Joseph and a man had an argument at a bar during which Joseph used a knife to inflict a wound to the man's neck, causing a wound which bled. The injured man was assisted to the hospital for treatment. Following a report to the police, Joseph was arrested and subsequently charged, after he was positively identified.
His court date is being finalised.
