Former England international footballer and team manager and coach Hope Powell will conduct a Jamaica Football Federation, FIFA coaching course to focus on female players from November 30 to December 4.

Participants will include coaches from the Sherwin Williams Women's League, selected former national female players, national coaches, and representatives of parish associations.

The JFF has also invited the GC Foster College, the University of Technology, and the Ministry of Education to send representatives.

The course comes on the heels of Jamaica's

She won 66 caps for England after making her debut at the age of 16 and played in the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup.

At 31, Powell became the youngest ever coach of an England national football team, as well as the first woman and first black person to hold that position.
