Patrick: No relegation fears at Waterhouse
Waterhouse are firmly at the bottom of the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) standings after 15 games, but, according to coach Anthony Patrick, relegation is far from the minds of those who control the club.
"No, I am not concerned (with relegation), we still have 18 games to go and when you look at the standings the leaders still do not have 30 points," Patrick told STAR Sports on Sunday.
first win
He added: "We still have a look in. We just have to get the first win in this round. This (1-0 defeat by Harbour View) was our first loss in the second round, but we have to get the first win in this round and see where we can go from there," he reasoned.
The former winners have struggled this season, and are currently on 13 points from 15 games with just 11 goals scored and 19 conceded.
Waterhouse talisman, Jermain 'Tuffy' Anderson has hit the back of the net just three times. He usually provides the bulk of the Drewsland outfit's goals, and Patrick believes he will have to tinker with the team in a bid to get the right combination.
"We continue to play well but are not hitting the net and that is a problem for us. Hopefully, we can solve it by Wednesday against UWI, so for that game we want to make some changes," he added.
