New proposals from European track and field governing body European Athletics could see many athletes stripped of their world medals, set before 2005, depending on a vote this summer.

This means that the IAAF would then replace these records with the next best times and distances set at specific meets within its jurisdiction, in order to be ratified.

The following are what the records are at the moment, and what the records would become, if the proposal gets the backing it needs.
