Rudolph Speid, technical director of Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) outfit Cavalier FC, said he has been seeking to improve his team's chemistry ahead of tomorrow's clash with Arnett Gardens at Stadium East.

Cavalier, who are coming off a 2-0 away win over Reno in their opening game, will be hoping to avenge their 4-3 loss to Arnett Gardens towards the end of last season.

Speid told STAR Sports that he is feeling confident about his team's chances, but he is expecting a tough game from his opponents.

"We are working on playing together as a team, but individual-wise we are not there yet," said Speid. "We have done pretty well against Arnett Gardens over the years," he said.

"However, they are ahead of us in the head-to-head because last year, we played three games, and two were drawn, and they beat us 4-3 in the other game," Speid said.

He added that the matchups between the teams have been close over the years, so he is expecting an exciting encounter tomorrow.

"Arnett Gardens have been one of the top teams in the Premier League over the years, but we are optimistic, but I know it won't be easy because it will be a very hard match," Speid said.

"They have an advantage because they were involved in a competition in the summer, so they were in training. But we are Cavalier and we are coming to play how we know how to play, so let's see what happens at the end of the game," Speid noted.
