Jamaica College team manager Ian Forbes lifts the Manning Cup trophy after the school's victory in the final against STATHS at National Stadium on December 1, 2017.

Defending champions Jamaica College (JC) will be looking to secure Group F honours when they take on Kingston Technical in the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup competition at Old Hope Road today.

JC, who are seeking their sixth straight hold on the title, lead the group with 22 points, three ahead of Hydel, with one match remaining after today's encounter.

They are followed by Vauxhall (nine), Kingston Technical (five), Kingston High (two) and Campion (zero).

The Andrew Peart-coached JC, who are the favourites to retain their title, are expected to get the better of their opponents this afternoon having thrashed them 4-0 in their previous game.

Ian Forbes, manager of the JC team, said his team will be taking this game very seriously and will be going all out for the three points.

"We are taking this game very seriously because it is part of the build-up to the later rounds, and so it a very important game to us and we are not taking it lightly," said Forbes.

"Every game that we play we strive to get three points and tomorrow (today) will be no different, but we are taking it one game at time. Our aim is to secure all three points from this game," Forbes added.

The Dark Blues will be depending heavily on the likes of Norman Campbell, Nathan Hunter, Javain Thompson, and Okeefe Cunningham to lead their charge to victory.

In the group's other games, Hydel will host Campion and Vauxhall host Kingston High.
