National senior men's football team head coach Paul Hall is calling for aggressiveness on the field and an intimidating atmosphere off it when Jamaica face Mexico in their Concacaf Nations League game at the National Stadium tonight at seven.

Jamaica are unbeaten in their first two games with a 1-1 draw and a 3-1 win, both over Suriname earlier this month.

Mexico opened their campaign with a 3-0 win over Suriname last Saturday.

Amid off-field issues, Hall said that he was pleased with the home support shown last Tuesday and wants the crowd to give the team a proper home advantage.

"It felt so good to have the support of the public and knowing that everybody is putting Jamaica first. That's key," Hall told the media in the pre-game press conference yesterday. "We need to put Jamaican football first and the image of Jamaica first. So it's really time to make them feel uncomfortable with our support. Make it for Mexico, how it's going to be for us next year when we play them away."

The win came after Jamaica Football Federation General Secretary Dalton Wint bowing to pressure from the Jamaican players to resign after mismanaged travel arrangements delayed their return to Kingston after playing Suriname in Paramaribo on June 4.

Jamaica has not beaten Mexico at home for over a decade, their last win occurring in 2008. Their last meeting was in their World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium in January where they lost 2-1, a game that saw defender Damion Lowe red-carded.

Hall said that he is encouraged by the performances in their last two meetings against Mexico, but has demanded a more cerebral approach from the team.

"I think we need to improve our ruthlessness in front of goal," he said. "We've got some good players who, when they are on their game, can make a statement. But we must do that and we show that. Right from the word go, we make it uncomfortable for a team that we know is good, but we know are beatable."

Hall will have decisions to make regarding who starts in defence as Richard King is out injured. Jordan Scarlett replaces him and goalkeeper Jahmali Waite has also been included to replace Amal Knight, who is also out. However, goalkeeper and captain Andre Blake is available after missing the last two games because of an injury.
