WESTERN BUREAU:

Vannie Clarke, coach of York Castle High School, is hoping that their fairytale run in this season's schoolboy football continues when they take on Glenmuir High School this afternoon in the early kick-off (1:15) in the semi-finals of the ISSA Ben Francis KO Cup at the St Elizabeth Technical Sports Complex in Santa Cruz.

York Castle have impressed with their exciting brand of football. A number of players from the Mount Pleasant Football Academy are in their squad.

"We go into every game to play good football and entertain the fans. However, at the end of the day we want to win. We are confident that if we approach the game positively we will get the result," Clarke said.

"We know that Glenmuir are a very good team and they are coached by Andrew Peart, one of the top young coaches in this country,"he said while adding that it was unfortunate that the game will be played close to midday. However, Clarke said his team will play some good football and 'the result will take care of itself.'

In the late kick-off at 3:45 p.m., defending champions Edwin Allen High School will oppose four-time champions Rusea's High School.
