Jamaica College's Samuel Creary, the reigning Class Two 1,500 metres champion, was the only competitor in the semi-finals of the Class Two boys' 800 metres to break the two-minute barrier, as he clocked 1:58.38 minutes to win semi-final two at the ongoing ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championship.

Through to the final also are Jamaica College's Shemar Green, Albert Town High's Clevaughn Genius, Maggotty High's Jayden Brown, St. Mary High's Rasheed Grant, Clarendon College's Rushanne James, St.Elizabeth Technical's Delano Brown and Kingston College's Nahason Ruto.
