World 200m champion Shericka Jackson will be one of several top senior athletes in action tomorrow at G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sport, as competitors get an opportunity to qualify for the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing, scheduled for March 21-23.

The meet, recognised on the World Athletics Global calendar, will feature events in the 60m, 60m hurdles, 200m, 400m and 800m on the track. In the field, athletes will compete in the high jump, long jump, triple jump, and shot put.

The first event, the preliminary round of the women's 60m, begins at 2 p.m. and will feature Jackson, who will be making her second appearance of the season. The MVP athlete is looking to bounce back after losing her season opener over the same distance at the Queen's/Grace Jackson Invitational in January.

Jackson will face tough competition from SprinTec's Jodean Williams, who defeated her at the Queen's/Grace Jackson meet.

Also in the line-up is Tina Clayton, who showed a return to form after clocking a wind-aided 7.04 seconds at the Gibson McCook Relays. Joining them are MVP teammates Natasha Morrison, Joneil Smith, and Serena Cole, as well as Mickael Moodie and Shashalee Forbes of SprinTec.

On the men's side, Swept Track Club's Tyquendo Tracy leads a strong field that includes MVP's Rohan Watson, Ramone Barnswell, and Nishion Ebanks, along with Bryan Levell of Optimum Track Club and Tajay Gayle of Ricketts Performance Centre.

In the women's 400m, MVP's Sadae Williams will headline the event, joined by Elite Performance's Candice McLeod and Aaliah Baker.

Williams will also contest the women's 200m, where she will compete alongside her MVP teammate Janieve Russell and Alice Brady of UTech.

Olympian Ackeem Blake will headline the men's 200m, featuring Zandrion Barnes of SprinTec and Sandrey Davidson of Dynamic Speed.

Meanwhile, Olympic 400m hurdles finalist Roshawn Clarke is set to compete in the men's 400m, alongside MVP's Rusheen McDonald, Delano Kennedy of Optimum, and Michael Sharpe of SprinTec.
