Cavalier head coach Rudolph Speid was very unhappy with some calls that went against his team yesterday after they battled to a 1-1 draw with Waterhouse in a Jamaica Premier League (JPL) match at the Drewsland Mini-Stadium yesterday.

Speid said there were some 'mind-boggling' decisions during the game.

Cavalier sit in fourth place on 45 points after the draw and Speid insisted that if he had gotten some of those calls (those that went against his team) they would have a much better points tally.

"Some people think we are doing badly. If we got back those points, based on the calls, we would have about 15 to 20 points more. However, I am not worried. At the business end you will see what Cavalier is all about," he stated.

Javane Bryan put Waterhouse in front in the 46th minute when he latched on to a pass from Omani Leacock, got rid of his marker and fired a low shot past Vino Barclett in goal.

However, Cavalier always looked dangerous and Jalmaro Calvin got the equaliser when he turned home a free kick from eight yards in the 70th minute.

Waterhouse remain in sixth in the league with 38 and coach Marcel Gayle said it was a tough draw.

"It was a good effort from my guys. I thought we were good tactically. I just think we lacked concentration. It is something we are working on in training and will get better."

Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant eased past Dunbeholden 3-0 to stay 11 points clear of Arnett Gardens at the top of the table.

Nicholas Nelson fired Mount Pleasant into the lead after 23 minutes and Daniel Green made it 2-0 five minutes later.

Devonte Campbell then sealed the win with a goal three minutes from the end.

Mount Pleasant now have 68 points while Dunbeholden remain in ninth on 32. Arnett Gardens host Racing United today at 7:45 p.m. and could cut the lead to eight points.

Vere boosted their fight against relegation after turning back fellow strugglers Humble Lion 2-0 to climb off the foot of the table with 22 points, one more than bottom-of-the-table Humble Lion.

At Ferdie Neita Park, hosts Portmore took the lead through an expert strike from Jeremy Lynch in the 55th minute but Nichalai Fuller secured a point for Tivoli with a sublime free kick in the 68th minute.

The result left Portmore in fifth on 44 points and Tivoli in eighth on 33. Molynes and Harbour View remain in 10th and 11th positions with with 27 and 25 points, respectively, after a 0-0 draw.
