I can't get her to abort our baby

Dear Pastor,

I am caught in a web. I am 24. My girlfriend is 22. We are planning to get married next Easter.

Ibroke up with my previous girlfriend because she was two years older. I do not want a wife older than I am. There was no fuss between us. We promised we would keep in touch.

I felt lonely one day when my girlfriend was staying with her mother. I called my ex and told her how I was feeling. She told me I could come to see her because her boyfriend had just left. She was sure he was not coming back for the night. A friend dropped me at her house. She made me some tea and gave me cookies.

While we were watching TV, the devil got into me and we started to make love. I fell asleep and didnt wake up until 1 a.m. She told me I could not go on the road at that time so I stayed. I got up at 5 a.m. and we had sex again. I did not use a condom. She is now pregnant. She said it is not for her boyfriend. I got her pregnant. I am begging her to get an abortion, but she said she would rather carry the baby .

I am going to lose my girlfriend when she finds out that I got this girl pregnant. Do you think you can call and talk to her for me? I would love that, please.

Dear S.T.,

I consider what you have asked me to do as a joke. You have to be out of your mind. Both of you knew what you were doing. You had unprotected sex and the woman is now pregnant. She is determined to carry her child, and rightly so. You shouldn't be encouraging her to terminate the pregnancy.

You ought to deal with your problem. If your fiancEe wants to leave, you would not have anybody to blame but yourself.

Pastor
