Wholesale Thursdays celebrates anniversary
Last Saturday, popular weekly event Wholesale Thursdays celebrated its second anniversary in elegant style as promoter Eric Connection opted for an all-white theme with majority of patrons dressed accordingly.
Musical selections from the disc jocks kept the night alive and fun-filled. The energy went up a notch when commencement of the award show was announced. Eric Connection gave out numerous awards and gifts to patrons in a jubilant manner to show his appreciation for their support throughout the year.
"Really, really pleased with the turnout on the anniversary night," he said, in spite of the event being rescheduled due to a clash with the general election last Thursday.
"As you can see, the change of date never affected the people from coming out," he said, pointing at the packed Paradise Cove venue.
"I just want to thank everybody who made this anniversary possible, from the bartender to The Almighty himself. A very special thank you to the sponsors," he added.
Wholesale Thursdays is held every Thursday at Paradise Cove, Bull Bay, St Andrew, near the Nine Miles square.
