'Mad Head' allegedly pulls gun on woman during heated argument, charged

A heated argument in Admiral Town reportedly took a dangerous turn on Tuesday morning, ending with a man being charged after he allegedly returned to the community armed with a firearm.

Forty two year old Romeo Dixon, otherwise called 'Mad Head', of Crook Street, Admiral Town, Kingston 12, has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, using a firearm to commit a felony, and assault at common law.

According to the Admiral Town police, about 9:42 a.m., Dixon was involved in a conversation with a woman which escalated into an argument. He reportedly left the area but later returned with a firearm and approached the woman.

The woman reportedly fled the scene to avoid injury and later made a report to the police.

Dixon was subsequently taken into custody and charged after investigators obtained a statement implicating him in the incident.

A court date is now being finalised.
