Life's Good lived up to the name
It was an entertaining night at Guinness Life's Good mixed-music era party held at St Lucia Avenue car park in New Kingston last Saturday.
The event, dubbed 'Frac/tion Old vs New', infused the hits from the '90s with current chart-toppers.
"This string of music had the patrons in a different vibe where some resorted to the old ways of flossing by buying crates of Guinness, while some confined to the new flossing of Hennessy and Ciroc. The LG promotional team even brought back a favourite drink from the past, Hypnotiq," said promoter of Life's Good, Kareem Lewis.
He added: "Many patrons were asked about the concept and most said they loved it because it was different. Look out for the next LG (Life's Good) event."
COMICAL INTROS
Meanwhile, disc jocks had patrons dancing all night. Bishop Escobar delighted the crowd with his witty and sometimes comical intros to his set, such as Akaline's Impact and Aidonia's Crazy and Yeah Yeah.
DJ Mario came on late to allow the women to 'dash out', so to speak, with girl songs, before making the 'skankas' drop a few routines. Also putting life to the party was DJ Echo.
