It's been less than a week since deejay Spice released the visuals for her latest single, 'Tick Tak', and already, it has garnered over one million views. At number 10 on YouTube's trending list, the number of 'Tick Tak' views in four days speaks volumes about the entertainer's mass appeal.

Spice told The STAR she thinks carefully about the concept for each video project and is usually very hands-on as she wants to ensure her fans get the best every time. "This video especially was shot in three different countries - Jamaica, England and Colombia. I'm very hands-on with not repeating concepts, so I always try to pay full attention, especially since I know fans always anticipate to see my videos," she said. "I come up with concepts based on the song, so this was easy because of the introduction part of the song. I did a Jamaican ring game intro, so immediately, I thought about going back to childhood days in Jamaica."

"People love this concept 'cause everyone can relate to the childhood ring game concept," she said.

She also credits her music video successes to Xtreme Arts. They are the team she has been working with of late, and Spice explains that they give her space to express herself. "I use Xtreme Arts because the director is very professional. While some other directors believe that they know everything, Xtreme will work together with me and bring my visual to life," she said. "I require some impossible times to shoot because of my schedule, and Xtreme never complains. Two in the morning - you name it. Once I call upon him, he's there. His work ethic is amazing. He also travels with me, so it also makes it easy to capture the video in different countries."

She went on to explain that music videos are about more than just the artistes. "Everyone on my team knows how miserable I am when it comes to videos and getting the look that I want. Big up my Team Spice dancers Rebel and TC - one thing for sure, they bring their A game for my videos 'cause they know how I am when it comes down to video shoot and the look I want," she said. "If they invite other dancers, they make sure to warn them before they come."
