When dancehall entertainer Bounty Killer handed over some goodies to the Victoria Jubilee Hospital (VJH) in Kingston on Labour Day 2018, he indicated that he had some help from members of the entertainment fraternity. Business mogul and record producer White Gad was one of those persons who collaborated with the Five Star General (who also counts Grung Gad among his nicknames) and made staff members at the VJH very happy.

The producer helped the Bounty Foundation hand over a refrigerator and air-conditioning unit to the hospital and was also present on the day to help with clean-up activities. White Gad, who recently appeared on the dancehall scene and is already known for his money flaunting, told The STAR that he is more than just an enigma. He said after seeing how much of a difference Bounty Killer was making through his foundation, he is thinking about starting a charity organisation of his own.

"Bounty mentioned the initiative and it sounded like a worthy cause. So we just decided to partner up and donate a few much-needed items to the hospital. I like to give back in whatever way possible and I am currently seeking to establish a charity foundation of my own, so that I can continue to make meaningful contributions in and out of the entertainment field," he said pointing out that there are many needy persons in Jamaica.

"It should be a duty for humans to give a helping hand to each other. It's a great feeling to give back. We've all benefited from someone's kindness and know what it feels like. So when we are in a position to provide moments like that for others, it is a very empowering feeling. Giving is a blessing and it is a good foundation for success."

White Gad Records currently has a new compilation on the Global Warming rhythm, featuring Bounty Killer, Ding Dong, Chris Martin, Future Fambo and Digital Sham.
