Partygoers get 'awesome' experience at Maruba

The Royal Jamaica Yacht Club in Port Royal was the spot for what many would have described as an awesome party called Maruba recently.

The women were out in their numbers, wearing quite a few 'interesting' outfits that had their male counterparts staring.

The selectors added value to the occasion, as they played mainly high-tempo songs that made the patrons dance up a storm.

"Maruba is definitely a hot party. It was awesome, definitely off the chain," said Marie, a patron, who travelled all the way from Ocho Rios, St Ann, with friends to experience the event.

Apart from the musical presentations, live performances came from special guest artistes, Safaree Samuels and ZJ Liquid.

Safaree did tunes such as Hunnid and Bad Man Strait, while ZJ Liquid got good feedback for Dem Nuh Like We, which is a collaboration with Noah Powa. Media personality and artiste Kayla 'Press Kay' Williams also got into the action. She created a bit of stir when she danced with Safaree, while singing Come Fi Di Knockaz.
