The highly anticipated Xodus Wet has set the tone for an unforgettable week of Jamaica Carnival festivities, delivering an electrifying experience at Port Spectrum in downtown Kingston.

The event, held yesterday, drew a massive crowd of revellers ready to immerse themselves in the ultimate carnival atmosphere.

Patrons were treated to an exceptional musical lineup featuring top-tier DJs Travis World, Tony X, Sinistar, Zess, Rico, Papi Jae, Fatalic, and TegaRooks.

Each selector brought their unique energy to the stage, keeping the vibes alive from start to finish and ensuring the dance floor remained in constant motion.

The venue was transformed into a vibrant playground, as attendees fully embraced the spirit of the celebration; drenched in foam, paint, powder, and water. The high-energy environment and colourful displays created a truly unforgettable morning, leaving patrons with a high level of expectation for the remaining week.

Kalia Newman, local partygoer, noted that, "This is easily one of the best carnival parties I've been to. The energy was nonstop from start to finish, and when Voice performed, the whole place just came alive. It was pure madness in the best way possible."

Building up to a sensational performance by Voice, Tony X and Travis World delivered an electrifying set that had every patron singing and dancing along, despite the early morning hour.

The duo kicked things off with Encore, by Machel Montano, instantly raising the energy and setting the tone for the lively crowd.

This provided the exact atmosphere for soca sensation, Voice, who took the stage at approximately 10 a.m., delivering a standout performance that had the crowd singing along. His hit track Cyaa Behave proved to be a fan favourite, amplifying the already electric atmosphere.

Xodus CEO, Pierre Goubault, shared his enthusiasm about the event's success, stating, "Xodus Wet is all about energy, freedom, and pure vibes, and this year we delivered that on every level."

The next event on the lineup for Xodus Carnival is the Fete Gala, at the East Lawns of Devon House on Wednesday, beginning at 8 p.m.
