D’Clubz has fans dancing to ‘So Fancy’
D'Clubz, founder of the popular dance group Card Unit, is riding on a high from the single So Fancy.
Speaking with THE WEEKEND STAR, the entertainer said the track that is produced by Ireland Records has been generating a buzz in the dancehall, and he is predicting that it will become an international hit.
"There is a dance that accompany the song and to tell the truth, it is being played in every dance session. It is on a lot of mixtapes, and the thing about it is that the dance move is unisex, so both man and woman can do it. It take off, and every dancer a show off the move dem. The song itself just put you in a happy mood," he said.
A music video for the single was recently released and that, too, has been racking up the views on YouTube.
"A lot of promotion has been placed into it. Right now I am fully focused on my dance and recording career. I have a lot of work in the pipeline with Ireland Records, and I am booked for several shows this summer," he said.
D'Clubz, who hails from Seaview Gardens, developed a passion for dancing at an early age.
At 16, he formed Card Unit, and gained islandwide recognition when the group won TVJ's Dancin' Dynamites competition in 2010, before winning dance group of 2010 at the Youth View Awards.
