Dancehall entertainer Chi Ching Ching has been carefully laying the foundation for the newly established Amere Entertainment record label, named after his youngest son, who was born in 2018.

Since signing to Sean Paul's Dutty Rock Productions, the artiste has been busy touring, but has also dedicated a lot of time to the production of music for a second album which he hopes to have completed by the end of this year.

Chi Ching Ching's debut album Turning Tables had 14 tracks, including features with local and international acts such as Stonebwoy, Fatman Scoop, Patoranking, and Bounty Killer. It has garnered over 15 million streams across all platforms and he said that he is looking to replicate the impact, and then some.

"People really are in need of another project from me and I want to give it to them. But I been in the lab working and just taking the time to put certain things together," the entertainer told THE STAR.

"For the most part, the Dutty Rock team is wrapping up the album so we can get it out, so maybe this year into the start of 2024 it will be ready. I also have a lot of work to do with my label, including my commitments to an artiste by the name of Castral," he continued.

Through Amere Entertainment, Chi Ching Ching has released a juggling titled the 'God & Time' rhythm. The title track, which was recorded by the artiste-turned-label owner, features vocals by fellow entertainers Yaksta and Zagga. Castral has recorded on the rhythm, God Is Time, which was officially made available on all streaming platforms on Sunday. Chronic Law also has a song on the rhythm, God On Time.

Chi Ching Ching explained that the inspiration for the project is the experience of having seen good and evil working in the world.

"A lot of evil exists, we have all seen it, but there is equally, maybe even more good same way. Personally, God has done good and great things for Chi Ching and I want to put my all into representing God and for my faith. Me woulda dumb if me nuh talk about that," he said.

"There have been times I nearly gave up, but he has shown me what perseverance means. I want to build a legacy that my son Amere and all my children can be proud of. Remember the saying, 'a child shall lead the way'," Chi Ching Ching said.
