Causion set to release EP

Antiguan singer Causion is gearing up to release his seven-song EP, Mission in Progress.

The songs include Thank You, his latest release, and the patriotic Antigua me Come From. He co-produced Mission in Progress with keyboardist Maurice Gregory, a former member of Third World. The songs were recorded during a challenging period for Causion, a long-time South Florida resident, who has endured serious health issues in the past four years.

" Thank You is very personal to me. I wrote that song at a time when there was a lot of stress going on in my life. Even though all the things seem to be going in the opposite direction, I was still grateful for all the things that my Father had given me and had blessed me with," he said.

Antigua me Come From was used as part of the Antigua Tourist Board's advertising campaign to attract visitors to that country.

Causion also made his acting debut in Deep Blue, a recently released movie which was produced and directed by the husband-and-wife team of Howard and Mitzi Allen, who are also Antiguans.
