Dancehall artiste Nadg says he has seen growth in his career since the release of the Run E Grung remix.

Now aiming to maximise on the buzz that the 'We A Run E Grung' challenge has created globally, he has released the music video for the viral song, and accompanying dance choreography created by Xclusive Dancers. The track, which was produced by Seanizzle and DJ Genesis, had people across the globe learning the moves to show off their rhythm and coordination on TikTok. To date, the challenge has amassed more than 100 million views and nearly 10 million likes. According to Nadg, with the support the single has received since its release late last year, it would have been remiss of him to not release a full music video.

"My fanbase has most definitely increased significantly from all around the world and it is just an amazing feeling," he said. "It's a joy to see how far the song go in such a short time. I was very excited to shoot the video, and now I'm even more excited to see the reactions and how far the song will go now with the video to match. I've received much love and support locally and internationally over the past six months. I'm looking forward to seeing it continue."

The music video for the high-energy dancehall and hip-hop fusion track was directed and produced by Rikroy Williams from Acroscopic Studios, who opted for local dance talent to bring the vibe of the song to life.

"I teamed up with Ro'Gue Regal on this project in a deliberate move to capture the spirit of the song. The video features popular local dancers like Pata Skeng, Snow, Sara Bendii, Energy, Expensive and Monster Boss, to name a few. We know them for their energetic and infectious street dance styles. Their presence adds an exciting dimension to the video. It underscores the wealth of talent that emerges from the streets of Kingston," he shared.

For Nadg is hopeful to allow the momentum to die and is currently working on an EP that will continue to expose his talent to his new-found audience.

"I plan to keep working hard, stay focused, keep consistent so I can continue to produce good content. There's no limit. [I plan to] just believe in hard and smart work and trust that God will continue to direct my path," he said.

Initially breaking out from its TikTok origins, 'We A Run E Grung' has garnered significant airplay across radio stations in the USA, Canada, UK, parts of Africa, Australia, the Caribbean and Europe.
