Natesha and Mr Easy sizzle on ‘Hot Boy’

In time for summer, Natesha and Mr Easy have delivered the single Hot Boy.

The track boasts a fusion of dancehall, reggae and R&B sounds and will easily appeal to a cross-section of music lovers. Describing the song as entertaining, sexy, happy, energetic and hot, the New Jersey-based Natesha, who is of Jamaican descent, says, "I'd like to think of Hot Boy as dancehall crossover." The collaboration came about when the two met at a club and later connected through social media.

"Mr Easy is a music legend who brings the raw sound that I needed for Hot Boy. The song connects and DJs around the world will love it," said Natesha.

Speaking about the theme of the song, Natesha added, "Girls just want to have fun, good pleasure, great satisfaction ... a 'hot boy' must know how fi manage it," she said.

The multi-talented singer, whose given name is Natesha Ladarna Forbes-Anderson, has also released the singles Reasons and Body. A singer and songwriter, Natesha believes her unique style and sound make her shine.

"Music is my passion and honestly, I want to make a huge name for myself. I've been at it for a while and I am confident that if I continue to put out music of this calibre, it will only be a matter of time," she said.

Mr Easy, on the other hand, is enjoying the buzz with other songs like Times Like These, Wait Forever and High Grade. He is very hopeful that this new song will become a crowd favourite.

"It was such a pleasure working alongside this talented singer and I am hoping that it will become a big hit, and also that we will be able to work again in the future," he said.
