Last Saturday night, Bounty Killer, his friends and his fans took over the UDC car park along Port Royal Street, downtown Kingston, for another staging of It's Tha Party, the 'Grunggadzilla's annual birthday bash.

The now 51-year-old entertainer, who ditched his trademark dark glasses for the occasion, was in a jolly mood, and so, too, were the patrons. They chose to wait out the brief post-midnight showers, which, just like last year, did not dampen the mood of the party. The 'Five Star General' received many birthday blessings and big-ups from his friends in the music industry. Among those present were Beenie Man, K-Queens, Keiva, Nitty Kutchie, Cham, Bling Dawg, Munga Honorable, General B, Harry Toddler, I-Waata, Joe Bogdanovich and Shelly Belly.

Here are the highlights.
