Rising dancehall artiste Pandaa Boss is banking on his new single, Sanative.

Produced by US-based West Side General Records, the singjay said he is confident that the track will resonate well with listeners, as the lyrics are relatable.

"It's an inspirational track about day-to-day life, about experiences just being on the block, or the emotional hurt that one can get from your partner, families or friends. I just voice out these things in the music and the track," he said. According to the entertainer, he has spent weeks promoting the single and is praying that it will take off and do well.

"I am putting a lot of promotion in it and just keeping my fingers crossed that it will inspire the world. I try to be different and not stay in the loop that everyone else is in. I have my own flavour and flow and all of this is highlighted in this song. I am only getting better," Pandaa Boss said.

The artiste, whose given name is Angquella Stewart, is a past student of Ascot High School in Portmore, St Catherine. He released his debut single in 2021, Dallaz, but said he has been honing his craft since he was a teenager.

"My father had a recording studio, so I grew up around music in Gregory Park. So each evening I would go home, and while my father, CD King, played instrumental, and while I was supposed to be doing homework, I was there writing songs. He would always tell me to complete my education first though, before I pursue music," he said.

As he continues to put in the work to earn a more prominent space in the music industry, he said he anticipates shining a positive light on the place he calls home, Torrington Park in Kingston.

"It's time to put Torrington Park on the map for the right reason as well. We are not about violence, but prosperity and upliftment," he said.
