CR3 is ready for greatness
'Stepping into greatness' is defined by self-improvement experts as that moment when a person understands that he or she was created in the image of greatness and therefore has the power to do and achieve great things.
One such person is dancehall newcomer CR3. The talented young man, who was born in Montego Bay, St James, and raised in Kingston, is confident that he has what it takes to be the next big star in dancehall music.
"I am here to bring what dancehall needs right now. I have a song for every topic and all of my songs are melodic, hypnotic and entertaining. My style is a fusion of catchy lyrics, melodies and sophisticated rhyme schemes. I am what's needed right now in dancehall music," said the artiste.
CR3 is currently promoting a new single titled CalmC which is one of the featured tracks on his EP Wages of Sin, which was released in June.
"It's really getting a lot of support in the streets, and it's getting good rotation both locally and internationally. I'm very pleased with the feedback I am getting about it and the EP," said CR3. The hard-working deejay recently released a video for another song from the project titled Mula, which was produced by Majestix Records.
He is also busy in the studios working on projects for several dancehall record labels, including R8MG, Worl Kiki, Majestix, JA Bangers and Paridon Records.
CR3, whose given name is Lejon Treasure, is a graduate of Camperdown High School in Kingston. He launched his recording career in 2017 with the release of the single All The Way, which was produced by UK-based producer Tommy Nice Up.
