Ras Kronik is feeling ‘The Energy’
Las Vegas-based reggae artiste Ras Kronik recently released his third full-length project, The Energy, which was released on August 18.
The 12-track album is a global melting pot of sounds, including reggae, dancehall, house, and pop. Some of the songs include Fyah Burn, featuring Turbulence, This Morning (remix), featuring Mr Mig, Rough Outa Street and Your Love.
"This album is getting a very warm reception from music lovers in various parts of the world, including Jamaica, the United States, England, Europe, and Africa. It's getting exactly the kind of response we anticipated when we were working on it. We produced this album for a global audience, that's why it features so many different genres," he said.
The Clarendon-born singer, whose given name is Everton Edwards, said that he is confident that over time The Energy will become a classic.
"I believe that with continued promotion, this album will achieve tremendous commercial success and eventually become a classic. It has all the right elements to achieve that level of success. All the songs on it were professionally written and recorded, and the mixes are great. This is a top-notch production," said Ras Kronik. The Energy is a collaborative effort of several producers.
