The Elite Weekend, set for March 16 and 17 at Kingston's Devon House, promises an electrifying clash of veteran expertise and youthful energy as patrons groove to the tunes of two top selectors: DJ Roy representing the NYC diaspora and Bishop Escobar from Jamaica.

Jerry McDonald, co-producer of Elite Weekend, in an exclusive interview with THE STAR said the discjocks were carefully chosen for their unique styles.

"DJ Roy will set the stage for the all-white soiree, while Bishop Escobar will captivate audiences at the all-blue 'Bleu & Bougie' affair," McDonald said.

"While DJ Roy brings decades of experience and the quintessential New York sound, Bishop Escobar represents Jamaica's fresh talent, both primed to deliver unforgettable performances. It's not a competition, but come the finale, attendees will surely have their say on who set the dancefloor ablaze," McDonald added.

Escobar has confidence in his ability to dazzle at Devon House.

"I'm a seasoned DJ with a unique flair. I adapt to any crowd and setting," Escobar said.

"Unmatched and authentic, I pride myself on my distinct style," Escobar added.

Representing the NYC scene, DJ Roy, co-founder of New York's Road International, promises to infuse Devon House with metropolitan flair.

"An event of this calibre demands nothing less than the best," DJ Roy said confidently.
