Recording artiste Ras Ghandi has drawn on personal experiences, both past and present, for his latest single ' Believe'.

The song, which was produced by Combustion Recordz, was released a few weeks ago. He also took inspiration from things that he has seen other people experience.

"This song is very relatable to me because mankind is like unexpected turbulence. Basically to expect anything from them at any given time and you won't be surprised," he said. This is the first time that Ras Ghandi has worked with Combustion Recordz.

"I am happy to be a part of such an amazing project that reminds the world that good music is still being made," Ras Ghandi said. He said that the support from radio DJs in Jamaica, South Florida, where he presently resides, as well as in other parts of the US and the Caribbean has also been good.

Born Duaine Bowen, he was raised in a Christian home by his grandmother. Ras Ghandi studied at Dinthill Technical High School in St Catherine, where, with a passion for football, he represented the school at several competitions. Ras Ghandi was inspired to pursue the natural gift he had for music. He released his creative energies through the artform by performing at local community concerts. It soon became apparent that he was an innovator and way ahead of his contemporaries in reggae and dancehall.

Ras Ghandi's songwriting skills have allowed him to write for artistes such as Yellowman, Ninjaman, Bounty Killer, Spice, Macka Diamond and Anthony B.
