Wealthy Don pleased with his career growth

Clarendon-born, Kingston-based artiste and entrepreneur Wealthy Don is pleased with his accomplishments last year and remains upbeat about exceeding his musical expectations for this year.

The Mek Wi Dance recording artiste highlighted that he completed a successful islandwide high school tour and graced several stage shows, expanding his fan base. When asked how he feels about the trajectory of his career, he said that he was "thrilled and fortunate to be doing what I love".

"I appreciate my fans, especially those new to my brand and style of music, specifically when I see and hear them singing and dancing along while I perform; it is something I do not take for granted," he said.

Despite the industry being a crowded space with many artistes struggling to find a place, or garner a steady fan base, the artiste and businessman credits his continued success to, as he puts it, "his natural ability to adapt and stay relevant, his dedicated Hewitt Entertainment management team, and his God-given talent matched with an unparalleled work ethic".

For 2024, he expects to expand his audience even more with scheduled tours of the Caribbean, a Panamanian tour, tours of Central America, a tour of Europe, and as far away as the African continent where several of his songs have been charting well.
