Reggae artiste Yaksta has reassured his fans and well-wishers that despite aches and pains, he is otherwise OK following a traffic crash on a highway in Germany on Good Friday.

He said that he and his team were en route to a show in Berlin, the country's capital.

"Fi tell you the truth, mi lower back and mi shoulder a gimme a warm time now, because mi back did deh near the glass a the bus when it lick up. It slam inna it and the place cold, so mi actually get a draft inna mi throat same way," Yaksta said.

"We were just driving on the highway and then there was a collision that hit our bus from behind. With that collision, the bus swung and just slapped inna a wall and then boom offa a wall and went straight over to a railing," he shared.

He confirmed reports that it was a multi-vehicle collision caused by a car that lost control.

"The car that hit us was hit by another car, and there was a next lady driving, and her car collided with theirs. So we would basically have less damage, but we have more injuries than them," Yaksta detailed.

"It was four vehicles. There was a black wagon behind a we, a 'Bimmer' (BMW), and an Acura, but the Acura no mash up, it's just a fender bender. All of us were treated and released, but our stylist face buss up," he added. Yaksta said that he provided a report to the police and also did a medical evaluation.

The artiste is touring as part of the Reggaeville Easter Special which saw him doing performances in Cologne, Munich, Berlin, Dortmund, Hamburg, all in Germany, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

"For the Easter Special, there are other artistes like Anthony B and Eek-A-Mouse and a band from the UK; and then Bush Fest, that is set for the UK, has me as the headliner," he said.
