AN-JU building musical legacy
Houston-based reggae artiste AN-JU is looking forward to a bright future in the music business.
The Jamaica-born singer has been steadily building his musical legacy since he began his recording career in 2019.
"My music is a modern blend of roots reggae and contemporary sounds. It is a distinctive style of reggae that has the potential to appeal to music enthusiasts globally. I create songs to uplift and inspire the people. Just like Bob Marley's music, the goal is for my music to last for generations," AN-JU shared.
The artiste is currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore album, aptly titled Legacy. The eight-track project, which was produced by him, will feature songs such as Run Away, featuring Turbulence and Bascom X, Morning Bloom featuring Tishana, and Farewell.
"I'm anticipating a positive response when my album is released on February 6. I'm confident that it will be warmly received by reggae fans all over the world because it's a very good album. All the songs are originals, and I spent a lot of time working on the project with my team to make sure it would be high quality. I must thank Diego (Yung Merciinary Music), Hendrik (Soulfyah Productions), and Adena Myrie for their creativity and professionalism on this project," he said.
AN-JU, given name Richard Gazader, hails from Pike district in Manchester. He's a past student of deCarteret College in Mandeville, the parish's capital. He launched his recording career in 2019 with a single produced by Soulfyah Productions titled How Many. The following year, he released his debut album titled One Life.
