Police investigate Rocky Point double murder
The Clarendon police are reporting that a high- level investigation is under way into Tuesday night's double murder in the Rocky Point area of the division.
According to a police report, Marlon Lambert and Keniel Forrester were found dead Wednesday morning on the grounds of the Salt Savannah Primary School in Rocky Point, with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to their heads.
"Residents reported hearing explosions sometime after 9 p.m., but were apprehensive to ascertain what transpired. However, when they made a check this morning (Wednesday), both men were found dead to the rear of the school," an investigator at the May Pen Police Station told THE STAR.
Winston Maragh, who represents the Rocky Point Division in the Clarendon Parish Council, lamented that in 2015 the area experienced a number of shootings and murders, and with the new year, it was expected that there would have been peace the community. He said that as a result of Tuesday's murders, a community meeting is being planned for Friday.
