Teacher found with throat slashed

March 02, 2016

The St. Mary police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a teacher who was found at his home Monday with multiple stab wounds and his throat slashed.

THE STAR understands that concern arose when the now deceased, 41-year-old Orville Francis of Wilderness in Oracabessa, did not turn up for work at the Heart Trust NTA branch in Port Maria.

Our news team understands that checks were made at his home and Francis, an information technology teacher, was found dead.

Reports from the police are that Francis was allegedly last seen alive about 8 p.m. on Sunday.

His peers describe him as reliable and hard-working.

When our news team contacted the St Mary police, THE STAR was told that investigations are ongoing.
