Motorcyclist killed in crash

Thirty-nine-year-old Dervent Channer of Ridge Pen district in Mount Side, St Elizabeth, succumbed to injuries he received in a motor vehicle collision on Beacon main road in the parish on Monday.

Reports from the Pedro Plains police are that about 10:30 a.m., Channer was driving a Jamco motorcycle along the mentioned roadway when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole.

He died while undergoing treatment at hospital.

Investigations continue.
