Men held for stealing cases of chicken

Three men remain in police custody as arrangements are being made for them to be interviewed in the presence of their attorneys, following their arrest in connection with the theft of 623 cases of chicken meat last Saturday.

Reports from the Cross Roads police are that the cases were loaded into a container for delivery the following morning. However, about 1:54 a.m., the container was discovered missing and the police were called.

The three were later nabbed by detectives.

Investigations continue.
