Police investigate murder-suicide outside TRN office Downtown

An investigation is now being carried out by the police who are at the scene of a murder-suicide at the TRN office on Orange Street in downtown Kingston.

Reports are that a male security guard shot and killed a female security guard before killing himself this morning.

Our source says the male security guard asked his co-workers to take him to the location where the woman was posted and engaged her in a brief conversation before shooting her shortly after 8:15 a.m.

He then shot himself.

The police have confirmed the murder-suicide but could not immediately provide details.

In the meantime, the TRN office has been closed and Tax Administration Jamaica is seeking counselling for the workers.
