Accused murderer nabbed in New York after flight from Jamaica

New York City police arrested an accused murderer at the John F Kennedy Airport, after he returned to the city on a flight from Jamaica.

According to www.nydailynews.com, Dwayne Wright, 29, was charged with murder for allegedly shooting 24-year-old Lameak Williams in the chest and leg on 122nd Avenue and Grayson Street in St Albans, New York, on May 19.

Wright was arrested on Thursday at the airport after getting off a plane from Jamaica.

THE STAR gathered that Wright told the Queens District Attorney's Office that he jetted off to Jamaica just hours after he committed the murder.

According to investigators, Williams and Wright were rivals.
