No arrests in Trelawny murder

Up to late last night, the Trelawny police were yet to take anyone in custody in relation to the mid-morning shooting death of a man in the parish yesterday.
Dead is 54-year-old Alrick Kitchiner of Clarks Town, Trelawny.
Reports are that sometime about 11:30 a.m. Kitchiner was attacked and shot by a group of men in Clarks Town, Trelawny.
It is alleged that moments before his death, Kitchiner was involved in an altercation with a group of men, when he stabbed one of them. The men allegedly chased and then shot him, before fleeing from the community. Kitchiner was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police say investigations into the killing are ongoing.
