The St Ann police now have three men in custody in relation to the murder and possible sexual assault of 88-year-old Nettie Rowe, who was found dead at her home in Runaway Bay last Wednesday.
Head of the St Ann Police, Superintendent Gary Francis, told The STAR that the persons are awaiting an identification parade, as investigations into the matter continue.
Reports are that the woman’s body was discovered by a relative at around 11:30 a.m. with multiple stab wounds to the chest. At the time, the police said it appeared that the elderly woman may have been sexually assaulted.
