Boyfriend's mom tried to kill me - Woman claims mother-in-law used obeah to make her sick

Mary White*, 37, said she almost lost her life for love and blames all of her problems on her mother-in-law, who she claimed has cast numerous spells on her to end the relationship with her son.

"It's like she wants her son for herself. I am never good enough for him in her eyes, and because him nah leave me, she say me tie him and a do everything to kill me. A the best a me now," she said.

White told THE STAR that she began having demonic attacks after she accidentally left a suit of her dirty clothing at her boyfriend's home which he shared with his mom.

"Me search down the house fi mi frock and blazer, but me couldn't find it, and then me memba say is there me leave it. Next ting me know, me man carry it come home and it wash and smell good. Me madda say me mustn't wear it cause me know di woman nuh like. But me run go put it on and deh so me life just start get messy," she said, noting that she was in the relationship for six years.

According to White, she began getting horrible dreams and would watch herself being dragged from her bed by 'no one'. Her skin began breaking out with sores and her tummy began growing.

"When me wake up a morning time, me underwear full a discharge and me nah have sex. Me belly start get big, and me feel something like baby a move. A night time me dream say a white man a have sex with me. Me and me man start have problem cause him a wonder how me pregnant and me say me on contraceptive," she said.

Numerous pregnancy tests

She stated that she did numerous pregnancy tests, all of which showed negative results. She said that her doctor was surprised when an ultrasound showed that she wasn't pregnant and that her health seemed perfect.

"Me mean say me a vomit and everything, enuh, and a watch the movements in me belly. Me madda tell me say a di woman a work on me and carry me go church. The pastor pick me out and start beat me in the belly, but it come like me nah feel nothing, and say him a cast out the demon weh live in me," she said.

The church visit did no good, as her condition took a turn for the worst.

"Me belly start kill me with pain and every minute the mother-in-law a call a ask if me feel better. Me go tell lie and say yes, and the night something hold me dung inna me sleep like she send back a next blow fi mi," she said, adding that her mother said she was speaking in a different voice.

With her health deteriorating, White said her mother decided to go against her Christian teachings and invited an obeah man to their home.

"Me know back me self when me start vomit up some green and black ting. Me vomit until me never think nothing leave inna me. Believe me when I say this cause me belly go right down," she said.

It has been five weeks since her 'redemption', and White said her boyfriend has returned home but she is not interested in staying in the relationship.

"The obeah man told me to leave him alone because his mother will not stop until I leave him alone. He said I was impregnated by a sex demon, and I would have died if my mom didn't seek spiritual health," she said.
